    Ottimo Kernel basato sul Kernel di Chainfire, da flashare con Odin o sgs kernel flasher.

    Si tratta di un kernel ricostruito dalle fonti più recenti e aggiornate di gingerbread in base al CF-Root.
    Utilizza tutte le cose incredibili del kernel Chainfire e inoltre è patchato con:
    Supercurio's Voodoo Sound v10
    Existz OC/UV
    Neldar's BLN
    Speemod Color Fix

    Features
    • Voodoo Sound v10
    • Voodoo Color
    • OC/UV (1200MHz, 1300MHz)
    • BLN
    • Speedmod color fix
    • Patched with the latest Samsung kernel sources.
    • JVT initramfs
    • compiled with Linaro GCC 4.6 toolchain
    • O3 and other compiler optimizations
    • 341 MB available RAM (353 bigmem versions it breaks 720 video recording)
    • Reworked cpufreq driver. cpu states 100-200-400-800-1000/1200/1300.
    • Bundled with Semaphore Script Manager to v0.62

    • Governor ondemand with deepsleep detection (default)
    • Governor conservative (module)
    • Governor smartassV2 (module)

    • Logcat disabled (as module only)
    • cpufreq statistics as module (is loaded by default)
    • Standard network packet scheduler
    • Kernel log buffer size 4KB (from 128KB)
    • deleting boot sounds procedure creates backup on /data/local

    • bootloop detection (pulisce la directory init.d se il phone non completa i 2 minuti di operazione normale)
    • Script per cambiare cache to virtual 50MB (nel caso si volesse scaricare delle apps superiori ai 30MB dal Market) Disabilitare questa opzione prima di convertire in ext4.
    Al fine di controllare i colori e il suono voodoo e il BLN si devono scaricare il Voodoo Control ed il BLN rispettivamente dall'android market.
    La frequenza massima della CPU è di default 1Ghz. È possibile utilizzare applicazioni come
    il Voltage Control per il controllo degli over clock e under volt.

    Per caricare vari moduli del kernel e abilitare o disabilitare varie funzionalità utilizzare l'applicazione Semaphore Script Manager che copia ed esegue automaticamente gli script rispettivi da /res/script in /system/etc/init.d.

    APPLICAZIONE SEMAPHORE
    • Il kernel installerà un'applicazione (Semaphore), la guida per l'utilizzo la trovate qui: Link
    Gli scripts:

    COME USARE I MODULI E GLI SCRIPTS
    Traduzione grazie a agalaxy ;)
    • Conservative CPU governor= Ondemand (quello di default) utilizza al massimo la cpu rendendolo più reattivo; Conservative usa la cpu a "scalare" dal minimo al massimo riducendo le prestazioni del cel ma risparmiando molto in batteria;
    • CIFS= Se abilitato è possibile accedere dal telefono cellulare come una directory locale;
    • Netfilter= insieme di moduli necessari per applicazioni firewal o wifi o tethering usb;
    • TUN= per la connessione VPN;
    • Deadline I/O scheduler= questo non l ho capito bene, riguarda la scadenza della "scheduler";
    • Overcloking Script= Per fare l'overclok, cioè aumentare la frequenza del nostro galaxy a 1200 o a 1300;
    • Speedmod Color script= per cambiare il colore dello script in freddo, caldo o neutro (default);
    • Script addon= attivare se si vuole una app del market più grande di 30mb. Disattivare se si vuole convertire il sistema in ext4!!
    • Kernel scheduler= twieaks del kernel;
    • VM Dirtyness= tweaks per il buffer del kernel;
    • LMK= per cambiare lo spazio di memoria da dedicare;
    • SD-Card read ahead= opzioni per la lettura "d'anticipo" della SD;
    • Startup/Shutdown Sound= per ripristinare i suoni di avvio/arresto.
    Per abilitare i lagfix e i tweaks si usano le due apps del CF Root (Ext4 e Tweaks).

    BOOTANIMATION
    Il bootanimation.zip va messo in data/local.
    Visto che i suoni al boot spariscono ho messo due pacchetti nel database flashabili da recovery:
    • [PATCH]Modded Bootsound > suoni modificati del team
    • [PATCH]Restore Bootsound > suoni default samsung
    Li trovate nel database in bootanimation.

    Re: [KERNEL] Semaphore Kernel JVH, JVP (CF-Root + voodoo sound v9 + OC/UV + BLN)

    Molto bene, voodoosound v.9 funziona egregiamente, in pratica migliore equalizzazione audio e supporto con
    l'app voodoo control plus, BLN funziona finalmente molto bene, provato con una chiamata persa e i due tasti soft key
    si illuminano ad intermittenza, notifica nello status bar perfetta. Reattivo quasi quanto lo speedmod che a mio avviso
    è più veloce ma di pochissimo, abbastanza fluido senza lagfix con quadrant a 963 e antutu a 1843, devo testarlo con i
    lagfix attivabili con l'app ext4 cosi come x l'app tweaks di chainfire.
    Al momento ho notato solo che non riproduce l'audio nel bootanimation. ;)

    Confermo, l'unica pecca è l' audio del bootanimation, ma il BNL va alla grande, il GPS primo fix = 7sec.
    Per ora sono molto soddisfatto ( lo speedmod, bisogna aggiornare ogni giorno !!!!! che ppppalle.. )
    Con i fix attivi e ext4, il quadrant mi è arrivato a 2830 (oc1200)..... per ora davvero ottimo...
    Vi aggiornerò per la batteria fra qualche giorno di utilizzo medio...

    La luminositá automatica è una delle ultime e quasi per certo l'ultima cosa che in froyo venne migliorata, fu proprio hardcore con lo speedmod a fare un ottimo lavoro. Con ginger non ci siamo ancora e tra l'altro io è da tempo che la disabilito e la regolo manualmente all'evenienza dalla parte superiore dello screen. ;)
